Parents & FamiliesEmpowering parents and families to support student success at NMSU

Family can play an important role in the success of students. For many students, family members are advisors, mentors, and role models. This website will help families connect to services and departments at NMSU that can help students succeed.

Parents and the NMSU Fund

Students at the Aggie Pride Call Center are reaching out to parents of our students to find out about their experiences, update our records, and invite them to participate in our annual fund campaign.

When you make a charitable contribution to the NMSU Fund, you will be joining other members of the NMSU family – alumni, faculty and staff, community members, and other parents – in supporting programs that enrich a student’s experience in countless ways.

NMSU’s excellence is widely acknowledged. We are in the top tier of the U.S. News & World Report Best National Universities rankings, an indicator that NMSU provides students with a high quality, affordable education. Criteria include quality of teaching, great career prospects and graduation rates. Washington Monthly places us at number 102 among 281 "national universities," a jump of 47 spots from 2011. Students cite their professors for friendliness, approachability and willingness to help them succeed.

U.S. News and World Report's list of Best National Universities for 2012 recognizes NMSU as one of the universities where students graduate with the least debt.

Gifts of all sizes help NMSU bridge the gap between the cost of tuition and the full cost of an NMSU education. Please answer the call and join other parents making a gift today.
